The synthesised am-HAp particles were in the size of 260 +/- 45 nm. X-ray diffraction (XRD) and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) analyses confirmed the chemical and phase structure of the am-HAp particles. Continuous PGA-HAp nanofibers with the mean diameter of 367 +/- 70 nm were successfully produced and am-HAp particles were well integrated into the nanofibers. Moreover, XRD and FTIR analyses verified the presence of am-HAp in the PGA nanofibers. The incorporation of the am-HAp to the nanofibers increased the maximum degradation temperature of PGA matrices from 340 degrees C to 362 degrees C. Mechanical analyses confirmed the elasticity of the 3-D PGA matrices. In vitro cell culture studies verified the biocompatibility of the nanofibrous matrices. Hence, 3-D nanofibrous PGA-HAp matrices may be a good alternative to ceramic bone substitutes due to their flexibility and physicochemical properties.", "doi": "10.1080/10667857.2021.1959216", "has_grant": false, "journal": { "issue": "1", "pages": "9-20", "title": "MATERIALS TECHNOLOGY", "volume": "37" }, "license": { "id": "cc-by" }, "publication_date": "2022-01-01", "relations": { "version": [ { "count": 1, "index": 0, "is_last": true, "last_child": { "pid_type": "recid", "pid_value": "233012" }, "parent": { "pid_type": "recid", "pid_value": "233011" } } ] }, "resource_type": { "subtype": "article", "title": "Dergi makalesi", "type": "publication" }, "science_branches": [ "Di\u011fer" ], "title": "Compressible polyglycolic acid-based nanofibrous matrices as a bone filler: fabrication, physicochemical characterisations, and biocompatibility evaluation" }, "owners": [ 1 ], "revision": 1, "stats": { "downloads": 3.0, "unique_downloads": 3.0, "unique_views": 6.0, "version_downloads": 3.0, "version_unique_downloads": 3.0, "version_unique_views": 6.0, "version_views": 7.0, "version_volume": 630.0, "views": 7.0, "volume": 630.0 }, "updated": "2022-10-07T08:36:18.594411+00:00" }
