The morphologies of the deposited samples were investigated by using atomic force microscopy (AFM). A stoichiometric value of coated surface was determined by energy dispersive X-ray spectrophotometer (EDS). Transmittances, reflectance, thickness and refractive indices of coated samples with BaF2 were measured by Uv-vis spectrophotometer and interferometer to characterize their optical properties. The films with high transparency and low reflections values were produced.
