The foods were produced at a special facility. Dog food produced using 25% barley had a gelatinized starch content significantly greater than that of food produced using 25% rice: 18.36% vs. 17.45%, respectively. No considerable difference was observed in the dogs' preference between the two foods (50.95% vs. 49.05%). Dry matter digestibility of rice and barley food was 86.10% and 83.85% and crude protein digestibility was 80.44% and 79.24%, respectively. Based on the consumption of rice or barley, stool consistency did not change.", "doi": "10.3906/vet-1705-21", "has_grant": false, "journal": { "issue": "6", "pages": "770-774", "title": "TURKISH JOURNAL OF VETERINARY & ANIMAL SCIENCES", "volume": "41" }, "license": { "id": "cc-by" }, "publication_date": "2017-01-01", "relations": { "version": [ { "count": 1, "index": 0, "is_last": true, "last_child": { "pid_type": "recid", "pid_value": "44989" }, "parent": { "pid_type": "recid", "pid_value": "44988" } } ] }, "resource_type": { "subtype": "article", "title": "Dergi makalesi", "type": "publication" }, "title": "Barley as an alternative to rice in dog food" }, "owners": [ 1 ], "revision": 1, "stats": { "downloads": 10.0, "unique_downloads": 10.0, "unique_views": 35.0, "version_downloads": 10.0, "version_unique_downloads": 10.0, "version_unique_views": 35.0, "version_views": 35.0, "version_volume": 908530.0, "views": 35.0, "volume": 908530.0 }, "updated": "2021-03-15T21:28:59.973826+00:00" }
