The essential oil was characterized by the presence of alpha-terpineol (33.7%), alpha-pinene (10.8%), sabinene (5.6%), beta-patchoulene (4.7%), 1,8-cineole (3.1%), and alpha-thujopsene (2.1%) as the major compounds. The volatile oil was assessed against clinical strain of Candida albicans. The low minimum inhibition concentration (MIC) of this compound (1.1 mu g/mL) is among the basis of this report.", "headline": "Anticandidal Activity of Volatile Compounds from the Root Bark of Ficus exasperata Vahl-Holl (Moraceae)", "identifier": 39139, "image": "https://aperta.ulakbim.gov.tr/static/img/logo/aperta_logo_with_icon.svg", "license": "http://www.opendefinition.org/licenses/cc-by", "name": "Anticandidal Activity of Volatile Compounds from the Root Bark of Ficus exasperata Vahl-Holl (Moraceae)", "url": "https://aperta.ulakbim.gov.tr/record/39139" }
