The open-source finite element software FEniCS has been utilized to develop this platform. The FEA results were obtained for an incident wave with a constant unit pressure and frequencies ranging from 1 Hz to 11360 Hz, with a frequency resolution of 10 Hz. The study analyzed various acoustic louver thicknesses, ranging from 100 mm to 300 mm, and common open area ratios (OARs) of 20\%, 30\%, and 40\%. The findings revealed that the critical frequency of the acoustic louver is highly sensitive to the thickness of the section, and that an increase in the cross-section of the acoustic louver may negatively impact the attenuation of certain frequencies. Additionally, the use of 1/3 octave bands was recommended for more detailed analysis and a clearer understanding of the behavior of critical frequencies.</dc:description> <dc:identifier>https://aperta.ulakbim.gov.trrecord/263138</dc:identifier> <dc:identifier>oai:aperta.ulakbim.gov.tr:263138</dc:identifier> <dc:language>eng</dc:language> <dc:rights>info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess</dc:rights> <dc:rights>https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0/</dc:rights> <dc:subject>noise pollution</dc:subject> <dc:subject>acoustic louvre</dc:subject> <dc:subject>variable blade parameters</dc:subject> <dc:subject>octave bands</dc:subject> <dc:subject>finite element method</dc:subject> <dc:subject>sonlu elemanlar yöntemi</dc:subject> <dc:subject>oktav bandı</dc:subject> <dc:subject>değişken menfez parametreleri</dc:subject> <dc:subject>akustik menfez</dc:subject> <dc:subject>gürültü kirliliği</dc:subject> <dc:title>A Parametric Study of Acoustic Louver Geometry Based on Insertion Loss From Airborne Sources</dc:title> <dc:type>info:eu-repo/semantics/article</dc:type> <dc:type>publication-article</dc:type> </oai_dc:dc>
