"description": "<p>This paper presents an open-source platform to calculate the insertion loss of acoustic louvers with variable blade parameters using Finite Element Method (FEM). The open-source finite element software FEniCS has been utilized to develop this platform. The FEA results were obtained for an incident wave with a constant unit pressure and frequencies ranging from 1 Hz to 11360 Hz, with a frequency resolution of 10 Hz. The study analyzed various acoustic louver thicknesses, ranging from 100 mm to 300 mm, and common open area ratios (OARs) of 20\\%, 30\\%, and 40\\%. The findings revealed that the critical frequency of the acoustic louver is highly sensitive to the thickness of the section, and that an increase in the cross-section of the acoustic louver may negatively impact the attenuation of certain frequencies. Additionally, the use of 1/3 octave bands was recommended for more detailed analysis and a clearer understanding of the behavior of critical frequencies.</p>",
