However; as global populace ages, there is a trend for MBC increase. Although its etiology is still unclear, constitutional, environmental, hormonal (abnormalities in estrogen/androgen balance) and genetic (positive family history, Klinefelter syndrome, mutations in BRCA1 and BRCA2) risk factors are already known. One potential target is the vitamin D receptor (VDR). We have investigated whether polymorphisms in the VDR gene are associated with altered MBC risk in a Turkish population.", "doi": "10.81043/aperta.21201", "has_grant": false, "journal": { "issue": "4", "pages": "640-645", "title": "JOURNAL OF BUON", "volume": "16" }, "license": { "id": "cc-by" }, "publication_date": "2011-01-01", "related_identifiers": [ { "identifier": "10.81043/aperta.21200", "relation": "isVersionOf", "scheme": "doi" } ], "relations": { "version": [ { "count": 1, "index": 0, "is_last": true, "last_child": { "pid_type": "recid", "pid_value": "21201" }, "parent": { "pid_type": "recid", "pid_value": "21200" } } ] }, "resource_type": { "subtype": "article", "title": "Dergi makalesi", "type": "publication" }, "title": "Vitamin D receptor gene polymorphisms and male breast cancer risk in Turkish population" }, "owners": [ 1 ], "revision": 1, "stats": { "downloads": 6.0, "unique_downloads": 6.0, "unique_views": 51.0, "version_downloads": 6.0, "version_unique_downloads": 6.0, "version_unique_views": 51.0, "version_views": 51.0, "version_volume": 1128.0, "views": 51.0, "volume": 1128.0 }, "updated": "2021-03-15T10:45:25.357400+00:00" }
