The main focus was to investigate the mutual effect of lime and commercial zeolite on the amount of the bio-oil production from furniture sawdust and waste lubricating oil. The selected operating parameters were pyrolysis temperatures and heating rate of 300 degrees C and 650 degrees C and flash heating or gradual heating rate (30 degrees C/min). Additionally, three different additives were tested as catalysts; namely, lime (CaO), commercial zeolite (4A) and a natural zeolite (klinoptilolite). The amount of the produced bio-oil was analyzed by gas chromatography-flame ionization detector. The distribution of solid, liquid and gaseous products was determined for each operational condition. It was seen that the amount of the bio-oil was influenced by the amounts of sawdust and zeolite in the mixture. Experimental results showed that higher temperatures were more effective for the higher bio-oil amount. Additionally, heating rate was quite significant at 300 degrees C whereas it has a minor effect on the bio-oil amount at 650 degrees C. The highest bio-oil yield was obtained for the mixture of sawdust and waste lubricating oil in the presence of both lime and commercial zeolite with flash heating rate at 650 degrees C.</subfield> </datafield> <datafield tag="650" ind1="1" ind2="7"> <subfield code="2">opendefinition.org</subfield> <subfield code="a">cc-by</subfield> </datafield> <datafield tag="700" ind1=" " ind2=" "> <subfield code="u">TUBITAK Marmara Res Ctr, Energy Inst, PO 21, TR-41470 Gebze, Kocaeli, Turkey</subfield> <subfield code="a">Gulsac, Isil Isik</subfield> </datafield> <datafield tag="700" ind1=" " ind2=" "> <subfield code="u">TUBITAK Marmara Res Ctr, Energy Inst, PO 21, TR-41470 Gebze, Kocaeli, Turkey</subfield> <subfield code="a">Budak, Mustafa Salih</subfield> </datafield> <datafield tag="700" ind1=" " ind2=" "> <subfield code="u">TUBITAK Marmara Res Ctr, Energy Inst, PO 21, TR-41470 Gebze, Kocaeli, Turkey</subfield> <subfield code="a">Unsal, Mehmet</subfield> </datafield> <datafield tag="700" ind1=" " ind2=" "> <subfield code="u">TUBITAK Marmara Res Ctr, Energy Inst, PO 21, TR-41470 Gebze, Kocaeli, Turkey</subfield> <subfield code="a">Buyuksakalli, Kader Ozgur</subfield> </datafield> <datafield tag="700" ind1=" " ind2=" "> <subfield code="u">TUBITAK Marmara Res Ctr, Energy Inst, PO 21, TR-41470 Gebze, Kocaeli, Turkey</subfield> <subfield code="a">Aksoy, Parvana</subfield> </datafield> <datafield tag="700" ind1=" " ind2=" "> <subfield code="u">TUBITAK Marmara Res Ctr, Energy Inst, PO 21, TR-41470 Gebze, Kocaeli, Turkey</subfield> <subfield code="a">Sayar, Asli</subfield> </datafield> <datafield tag="700" ind1=" " ind2=" "> <subfield code="u">TUBITAK Marmara Res Ctr, Energy Inst, PO 21, TR-41470 Gebze, Kocaeli, Turkey</subfield> <subfield code="a">Unlu, Namik</subfield> </datafield> <datafield tag="700" ind1=" " ind2=" "> <subfield code="u">TUBITAK Marmara Res Ctr, Energy Inst, PO 21, TR-41470 Gebze, Kocaeli, Turkey</subfield> <subfield code="a">Okur, Osman</subfield> </datafield> <datafield tag="980" ind1=" " ind2=" "> <subfield code="b">article</subfield> <subfield code="a">publication</subfield> </datafield> <datafield tag="542" ind1=" " ind2=" "> <subfield code="l">open</subfield> </datafield> <datafield tag="100" ind1=" " ind2=" "> <subfield code="u">TUBITAK Marmara Res Ctr, Energy Inst, PO 21, TR-41470 Gebze, Kocaeli, Turkey</subfield> <subfield code="a">Uresin, Ersin</subfield> </datafield> <datafield tag="260" ind1=" " ind2=" "> <subfield code="c">2019-01-01</subfield> </datafield> <controlfield tag="005">20210316115510.0</controlfield> <datafield tag="909" ind1="C" ind2="O"> <subfield code="o">oai:zenodo.org:90625</subfield> <subfield code="p">user-tubitak-adresli-yayinlar</subfield> <subfield code="p">user-tubitak-destekli-proje-yayinlari</subfield> </datafield> <datafield tag="856" ind1="4" ind2=" "> <subfield code="z">md5:1ec32ca95cf56a94946eeb9ef7ecaffa</subfield> <subfield code="s">228</subfield> <subfield code="u">https://aperta.ulakbim.gov.trrecord/90625/files/bib-7882264a-72eb-4ec8-96eb-ced3c5ad2fb0.txt</subfield> </datafield> <datafield tag="540" ind1=" " ind2=" "> <subfield code="u">http://www.opendefinition.org/licenses/cc-by</subfield> <subfield code="a">Creative Commons Attribution</subfield> </datafield> <datafield tag="024" ind1=" " ind2=" "> <subfield code="a">10.1177/0734242X18819192</subfield> <subfield code="2">doi</subfield> </datafield> </record>
