The helminth fauna of R. tavasensis comprised 3 species: 1 species of Digenea [Haplometra cylindracea (Zeder, 1800) Looss, 1899], 1 species of Nematoda [Cosmocerca ornata (Dujardin, 1845)], and 1 species of Acanthocephala [Acanthocephalus ranae (Schrank, 1788) Luhe, 1911)]. R. tavasensis represents a new host record for each of the observed helminth species in Turkey.",
