The drawbacks of chipless RFID tags, e.g., short reading range, can be mitigated by arranging multiple tags in array configurations. However, the strategy for arrangements of individual tags can be critical, especially to avoid destructive electromagnetic coupling between them. Using a numerical implementation, we investigate different strategies and array configurations in order improve the performances of chipless RFID systems in terms of readability and reliability. This paper presents initial results to demonstrate the importance of array configurations.</description> </descriptions> </resource>
