Important for many applications is the spatial position of an arbitrary object given directly or indirectly in terms of data that has to be processed to obtain position information. Starting point for the idea of the technical reflection-based sound localization system presented in this paper is the biological role model of humans being able to learn how to localize sound sources. Compared to other forms of sound localization, this nature-inspired method has no need for high spatial and temporal accuracy or big microphone arrays. Possible applications for this system are indoor robot localization or object tracking.</subfield> </datafield> <datafield tag="650" ind1="1" ind2="7"> <subfield code="2">opendefinition.org</subfield> <subfield code="a">cc-by</subfield> </datafield> <datafield tag="700" ind1=" " ind2=" "> <subfield code="u">Rhein Westfal TH Aachen, ICE, Aachen, Germany</subfield> <subfield code="a">Bytyn, Andreas</subfield> </datafield> <datafield tag="700" ind1=" " ind2=" "> <subfield code="u">Rhein Westfal TH Aachen, ICE, Aachen, Germany</subfield> <subfield code="a">Ascheid, Gerd</subfield> </datafield> <datafield tag="700" ind1=" " ind2=" "> <subfield code="u">Rhein Westfal TH Aachen, ISEK, Aachen, Germany</subfield> <subfield code="a">Schmeink, Anke</subfield> </datafield> <datafield tag="700" ind1=" " ind2=" "> <subfield code="u">Istanbul Tech Univ, Istanbul, Turkey</subfield> <subfield code="a">Kurt, Gunes Karabulut</subfield> </datafield> <datafield tag="700" ind1=" " ind2=" "> <subfield code="u">Trier Univ Appl Sci, Trier, Germany</subfield> <subfield code="a">Dartmann, Guido</subfield> </datafield> <datafield tag="980" ind1=" " ind2=" "> <subfield code="b">conferencepaper</subfield> <subfield code="a">publication</subfield> </datafield> <datafield tag="542" ind1=" " ind2=" "> <subfield code="l">open</subfield> </datafield> <datafield tag="100" ind1=" " ind2=" "> <subfield code="u">Rhein Westfal TH Aachen, ICE, Aachen, Germany</subfield> <subfield code="a">Laux, Hendrik</subfield> </datafield> <datafield tag="711" ind1=" " ind2=" "> <subfield code="a">2018 ACM INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON COMPUTING FRONTIERS</subfield> </datafield> <datafield tag="260" ind1=" " ind2=" "> <subfield code="c">2018-01-01</subfield> </datafield> <controlfield tag="005">20210315183909.0</controlfield> <datafield tag="909" ind1="C" ind2="O"> <subfield code="o">oai:zenodo.org:32247</subfield> <subfield code="p">user-tubitak-destekli-proje-yayinlari</subfield> </datafield> <datafield tag="856" ind1="4" ind2=" "> <subfield code="z">md5:9a815a4ac3d57eee2cab590a4449772e</subfield> <subfield code="s">200</subfield> <subfield code="u">https://aperta.ulakbim.gov.trrecord/32247/files/bib-9ee2c38f-9786-4ee6-a860-102873ec85f4.txt</subfield> </datafield> <datafield tag="540" ind1=" " ind2=" "> <subfield code="u">http://www.opendefinition.org/licenses/cc-by</subfield> <subfield code="a">Creative Commons Attribution</subfield> </datafield> </record>
