An uncoupled nucleon in the odd nucleus has been assumed to move freely in the j = 1/2, 3/2, 5/2 orbits. The energy eigenvalues and eigenfunctions have been obtained in closed form from the analytical solution of the Hamiltonian for the odd-system. Excitation energy spectra of some selected W, Os, Pt and Hf isotopes have been predicted within this model. Due to lack of experimental B(E2) data, some intra-band and inter-band electric quadrupole transition rates were presented only for Os-179 isotope. Acceptable results have been obtained for these isotopes. (C) 2020 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.</description> </descriptions> </resource>
