The behavior of magnetic Fe3O4 nanoparticles (MNPs) with an average size of 6 nm under an enhanced magnetic force is reported. Upon evaporation of the solvent where the MNPs are suspended, formation of unique micrometer-sized structures is achieved only when there is a patterned surface constructed from sub-micrometer size magnetic beads in between the applied magnetic field and the MNPs. The preliminary results indicate that the combined effect of magnetic field and evaporation rate might help the control of nanoparticle behavior on surfaces and interfaces in constructing higher structures.</subfield> </datafield> <datafield tag="650" ind1="1" ind2="7"> <subfield code="2">opendefinition.org</subfield> <subfield code="a">cc-by</subfield> </datafield> <datafield tag="700" ind1=" " ind2=" "> <subfield code="u">Yeditepe Univ, Dept Genet & Bioengn, TR-34755 Istanbul, Turkey</subfield> <subfield code="a">Sandal, Deniz</subfield> </datafield> <datafield tag="700" ind1=" " ind2=" "> <subfield code="u">Yeditepe Univ, Dept Genet & Bioengn, TR-34755 Istanbul, Turkey</subfield> <subfield code="a">Culha, Mustafa</subfield> </datafield> <datafield tag="700" ind1=" " ind2=" "> <subfield code="u">Bogazici Univ, Dept Chem, Istanbul, Turkey</subfield> <subfield code="a">Sanyal, Amitav</subfield> </datafield> <datafield tag="700" ind1=" " ind2=" "> <subfield code="u">Bogazici Univ, Dept Chem, Istanbul, Turkey</subfield> <subfield code="a">Atay, Naz Zeynep</subfield> </datafield> <datafield tag="700" ind1=" " ind2=" "> <subfield code="u">Yeditepe Univ, Muhendislik & Mimarlik Fak, Kimya Muhendisligi Bolumu, Dept Chem Engn, TR-34755 Istanbul, Turkey</subfield> <subfield code="a">Bucak, Seyda</subfield> </datafield> <datafield tag="980" ind1=" " ind2=" "> <subfield code="b">article</subfield> <subfield code="a">publication</subfield> </datafield> <datafield tag="542" ind1=" " ind2=" "> <subfield code="l">open</subfield> </datafield> <datafield tag="100" ind1=" " ind2=" "> <subfield code="a">Ozdemir, Tugce</subfield> </datafield> <datafield tag="260" ind1=" " ind2=" "> <subfield code="c">2010-01-01</subfield> </datafield> <controlfield tag="005">20210315113016.0</controlfield> <datafield tag="909" ind1="C" ind2="O"> <subfield code="o">oai:zenodo.org:24551</subfield> <subfield code="p">user-tubitak-destekli-proje-yayinlari</subfield> </datafield> <datafield tag="856" ind1="4" ind2=" "> <subfield code="z">md5:340524b2440614c71ccc6f75e670c1b5</subfield> <subfield code="s">225</subfield> <subfield code="u">https://aperta.ulakbim.gov.trrecord/24551/files/bib-dd585d64-3411-4ac7-a169-d4b27677406e.txt</subfield> </datafield> <datafield tag="540" ind1=" " ind2=" "> <subfield code="u">http://www.opendefinition.org/licenses/cc-by</subfield> <subfield code="a">Creative Commons Attribution</subfield> </datafield> <datafield tag="024" ind1=" " ind2=" "> <subfield code="a">10.1088/0957-4484/21/12/125603</subfield> <subfield code="2">doi</subfield> </datafield> </record>
