{ "DOI": "10.1103/PhysRevD.104.072001", "abstract": "<p>The first observation of the electroweak (EW) production of a $Z$ boson, a photon, and two forward jets ($Z\\gamma \\mathrm{jj}$) in proton-proton collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV is presented. A data set corresponding to an integrated luminosity of $137\\text{}\\text{}{\\mathrm{fb}}^{-1}$, collected by the CMS experiment at the LHC in 2016\u20132018 is used. The measured fiducial cross section for EW $Z\\gamma \\mathrm{jj}$ is ${\\sigma }_{\\mathrm{EW}}=5.21\u00b10.52\\left(\\mathrm{stat}\\right)\u00b1\\phantom{\\rule{0ex}{0ex}}0.56\\left(\\mathrm{syst}\\right)\\text{}\\text{}\\mathrm{fb}=5.21\u00b10.76\\text{}\\text{}\\mathrm{fb}$. Single-differential cross sections in photon, leading lepton, and leading jet transverse momenta, and double-differential cross sections in ${m}_{\\mathrm{jj}}$ and $|\\Delta {\\eta }_{\\mathrm{jj}}|$ are also measured.
