A dispersive finite-difference time-domain (D-FDTD) model is used to investigate the systems through the numerical simulations. To explain the results of the FDTD numerical simulations and to bring further insight to this interaction, we use a magnetic coupled dipole approximation as the theoretical basis. Our results demonstrate that near-field in-phase and out-of-phase interactions of the stacked nanoholes increase or decrease the optical transmission. Plasmon hybridization is discussed for stacked nanohole dimers on out-of-plane metallic films.</subfield> </datafield> <datafield tag="542" ind1=" " ind2=" "> <subfield code="l">open</subfield> </datafield> <datafield tag="650" ind1="1" ind2="7"> <subfield code="2">opendefinition.org</subfield> <subfield code="a">cc-by</subfield> </datafield> <datafield tag="540" ind1=" " ind2=" "> <subfield code="u">http://www.opendefinition.org/licenses/cc-by</subfield> <subfield code="a">Creative Commons Attribution</subfield> </datafield> <controlfield tag="001">111758</controlfield> <datafield tag="980" ind1=" " ind2=" "> <subfield code="a">publication</subfield> <subfield code="b">article</subfield> </datafield> <datafield tag="245" ind1=" " ind2=" "> <subfield code="a">Optical Transmission Enhancement of Stacked Plasmonic Apertures</subfield> </datafield> <datafield tag="260" ind1=" " ind2=" "> <subfield code="c">2016-01-01</subfield> </datafield> <datafield tag="980" ind1=" " ind2=" "> <subfield code="a">user-tubitak-destekli-proje-yayinlari</subfield> </datafield> <datafield tag="700" ind1=" " ind2=" "> <subfield code="u">Sabanci Univ, Fac Engn & Nat Sci, TR-34956 Istanbul, Turkey</subfield> <subfield code="a">Sendur, Kursat</subfield> </datafield> <datafield tag="856" ind1="4" ind2=" "> <subfield code="u">https://aperta.ulakbim.gov.trrecord/111758/files/bib-80935772-ae91-44b0-8baf-59400c58eb5f.txt</subfield> <subfield code="s">147</subfield> <subfield code="z">md5:66be4ec7d644e26ef3165949403cf9b6</subfield> </datafield> <datafield tag="024" ind1=" " ind2=" "> <subfield code="a">10.1109/JLT.2015.2497905</subfield> <subfield code="2">doi</subfield> </datafield> </record>
