Description
In CISPR 16-4-5, a procedure is specified to derive limits for alternative test methods using limits of established test methods. In the conversion process, the conversion factors and standard uncertainties of the test methods are determined. The conversion factors and the difference between the uncertainty of the alternative test method and the uncertainty of the established test method are then applied to convert the limits. In the technical report, all examples are addressed to radiated emission measurements. In this paper, this procedure is specially discussed for conducted emission measurements. An alternative conducted emission test method is used as case study.
