Extending AC-DC Current Transfer to 100 A, 100 kHz in UME

This paper describes work in TUBITAK UME, National Metrology Institute of Turkey, on expanding ac current measurement capabilities to 100 A up to 100 kHz. In the scope of the work current shunts based on cage and coaxial foil design are produced. New high current shunts are compared with existing system at 20 A in a step-up procedure. Here is briefly presented design of the shunts and results of the comparison measurements.
