Statistical methods based modulation recognition algorithm

In this paper, new arrangements to increase the performance of automatic modulation receognition algorithm proposed by Elsayed-Elsayed Azzouz ve Asoke Kumar Nandi based on statistical methods is studied. To increase the performance, first the algorithm proposed by Elsayed-Elsayed Azzouz ve Asoke Kumar Nandiis arranged in a new form that recognizes analog and digital modulations among themselves. For this aim a new algorithm that differentiates analog and digital modulations is developed. Then, in order to increase the performance of the algorithm recognizing the analog modulations, a new method is proposed. It is observed that the performance of the algorithm increases quitely after these arrangements.
