Clustering sea bottom texture

Description

Sea bottom in a region of the Marmara Sea was measured by multi beam echo sounder, DGPS and side scan sonar system and a map was produced using the amplitude and coordinate information. This map was later transformed into ten dimensional texture space by texture analysis. Iso-data (iteratively self organizing) data clustering technique was then employed to generate different sea bottom classes.
