Description
In this work; rate controlled space-time codes are designed under the inter-frame correlated fading channel model. To achieve this, linear dispersive codes that transmit only r-QAM symbols which are highly efficient coding systems for MIMO, are employed. The selection of a code is based on a criterion which maximizes outage capacity. This new design concept complements CR (Cognitive Radio) and SDR (Software Defined Radio) technologies that allows switching between different modes of operational specifications. The next state of the channel could be predicted by the presented model for fading channel and the rate of the system could be adoptively changed. When the capacity increases, rate and spectrum efficiency are increased, and vice-versa. We offer simulations which validates the efficiency of our algorithm.
