Description

In this work, transparent conductive reduced graphene oxide (rGO) films were prepared on glass substrates via spin-assisted layer-by-layer (LBL) deposition of oppositely charged GOs. First, synthesis of GO and amine-functionalized GO (GO-NH2) were successfully performed and characterized structurally and morphologically. Second, GO films were fabricated onto glass substrates via ionic interaction between GO and GO-NH2 and subjected to chemical reduction and thermal annealing processes to improve their electrical properties. The optoelectronic properties of reduced GO (rGO) films were controlled with the cycle number of spin coating. The rGO film provided optical transmission of 75% and sheet resistance of 8.5 k Omega/square with 20-bilayer film. We believe that this concept would be useful for many electronic applications requiring transparent and conductive properties. (C) 2019 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
