A Boundary Value Problem with Retarded Argument and Discontinuous Coefficient in the Differential Equation

This paper studies a boundary value problem with a retarded argument and a discontinuous coefficient in the differential equation. The equivalent integral representation for the solution of the boundary value problem is constructed. The simplicity of the eigenvalues is proved. The asymptotic behaviors of the eigenvalues and eigenfunctions are investigated.
