Description
aim of this paper is to analyse human errors in grounding accidents according to the Marine Accident Investigation Branch of UK (MAIB) Database. In the analysis it was found that 82% of grounding accidents were related to human factor. The main aim is to identify the effect of human errors on deterioration of navigation safety with a view of improving future ship bridge design according to the IMO Human Centered Design (HCD) approach.
