Description
Faunistic data are given for 9 species of Dolichopodidae, mostly new to the fauna of Turkey and collected in Marmara and Antalya regions. The following species are recorded for first time in Turkey: Chrysotus angulicornis Kowarz, 1874, Dolichopus nubilus MEIGEN, 1824, Poecilobothrus chrysozygos (WIEDEMANN, 1817), Sybistroma discipes (GERMAR, 1821), Sybistroma obscurella (FALLEN, 1823), Sybistroma sphenoptera (LOEW, 1859), Medetera pallipes (ZETTERSTEDT, 1843) and Thrypticus viridis PARENT, 1932. The presence of Micromorphus albipes (ZETTERSTEDT, 1843) in the country is confirmed. As a result, 87 Dolichopodidae species are known for Turkey at the present.
