Description
In this study, quartz crystal microbalances (QCM) sensor responses of desflurane, sevoflurane and isoflurane anesthetics are examined. The QCM sensor is located in an electronic nose cell. The QCM sensor frequency responses for desflurane, sevoflurane and isoflurane anesthetics were obtained using electronic nose. The QCM sensor responses are compared with minimum alveoler concentration (MAC) values of desflurane, sevoflurane and isoflurane anesthetics. It is observed that MAC values of desflurane, sevoflurane and isoflurane anesthetics and QCM sensor frequency responses have an approximately linear relationship with each other.
