Açıklama

With climate change, increasing short-term heavy rainfall is making capacity limitations and flood risk in urban stormwater networks more pronounced. In this study, pipe data from the stormwater network in the Anbar neighborhood of Kayseri were evaluated using the Entropy method to determine objective weights for structural parameters affecting maintenance and renewal priorities. For 1,353 pipes, pipe diameter, pipe length, and pipe age were selected as the main criteria. To reduce the influence of outliers, robust min-max normalization was applied using the 1st and 99th percentile limits. According to the Entropy results, pipe length had the highest weight at 79.18%, followed by pipe age at 11.50% and pipe diameter at 9.31%. The total network length was 30.85 km and the network density was 1.07 km/km². Based on the priority scores, 135 pipes were classified as very high priority and 270 as high priority. The results show that pipe length is the most discriminating criterion in the available dataset and that longer, older, and smaller-diameter pipes tend to receive higher priority scores. The proposed approach provides a data-driven basis for preliminary maintenance and renewal prioritization under limited data conditions.
