Drone-based high-resolution digital surface models and orthomosaics of maar volcanoes in the Central Anatolian Volcanic Province

This repository contains datasets generated and analysed for a regional study of Quaternary maar volcanism in the Central Anatolian Volcanic Province (CAVP), Türkiye. The geospatial component includes drone-derived digital surface models (DSMs) and orthomosaics of selected maar volcanoes. These products were used for geological mapping, crater delineation, morphometric measurements, and interpretation of maar morphology. 

Maar volcanoes are identified using the M1–M18 coding scheme adopted in the associated publication (Uslular et al., Volcanica).

The coordinate reference system (WGS 84 / UTM zone 36N) and spatial resolution are embedded in each dataset. 

These datasets can be used for scientific research, comparative geomorphological analysis, volcanic mapping, and related educational applications, subject to the citations associated with this APERTA record.
