Innovation management's effect on small-medium yacht tourism supply enterprises' organizational performance

Yachting is one of the key tourism industries contributing to the reduction of the foreign trade deficit in Mediterranean countries. Yacht tourism creates significant external economies by driving demand across various supporting sectors. As a result, innovation has become essential for yacht tourism supply firms to adapt to changes in the industry. This study focuses on yacht suppliers operating in Turkey, one of the most established yachting hubs in the eastern Mediterranean and aims to examine the impact of their innovation capacities on organizational performance. Data were collected from 113 managers of yacht tourism supply firms. The relationships between innovation capacity and organizational performance were analyzed using correlation and regression analyses. The findings indicate a significant and positive relationship between innovation dimensions and organizational performance, emphasizing the importance of innovation capacity in enhancing firm performance within the yacht tourism supply industry.
