Description
Many medical devices, such as Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), are highly sensitive to environmental conditions [1]. Therefore, technical rooms in healthcare settings require strict environmental monitoring to ensure both patient safety and optimal device performance. This paper presents the design and implementation of a real-time environmental monitoring and early warning system. The system utilizes Internet of Things (IoT) technologies, modern sensor components, and mobile integration to track environmental parameters. It includes temperature, humidity, airflow, and power status sensing on a cost-effective, modular platform based on the NodeMCU microcontroller. Real-time data acquisition, visualization, and remote access are enabled via electrical sensors and a mobile application. The alert system leverages both GSM and Wi-Fi communication to promptly notify healthcare staff of anomalies [8]. The proposed system improves operational safety, ensures uninterrupted clinical workflows, and offers a scalable solution for other critical medical environments [6].
