<i>Asyneuma ozudogrui</i> (Campanulaceae), a new species from southern Anatolia

Description

Asyneuma ozudogrui is described as a new species from Antalya, Turkey. Morphologically, it is similar to Asyneuma lobelioides and A. davisianum, but is easily distinguished by several morphological characters, including trichome types, the shape of the basal leaves and bracts, seed features and pollen grains. A detailed description, diagnostic characters and photographs of the new species are provided. Additionally, its IUCN Red List category, ecological observations of the populations, and a distribution map of the new species and its close relatives in Turkey are included.
