Description
Ensuring the security of user data is a critical concern in next-generation wireless networks, where conventional cryptographic methods may be insufficient. This paper proposes a distributed carrier frequency offset (CFO) pre-compensation technique to enhance physical layer security in a coordinated multipoint transmission setup. The method exploits the inherent CFOs to disrupt eavesdroppers' ability to decode signals. Our findings reveal a significant performance improvement, with a 32% increase in secrecy rate when using two transmission points compared to a single one. The study also examines the impact of various system parameters, including subcarrier spacing and channel estimation errors, on the overall security performance.
