Food safety in enteral nutrition formulas: Investigation of the presence of polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), phenols, and phthalate esters (PAEs) and potential health risks

Description
The increasing use of enteral nutrition formulas (ENFs) among vulnerable populations underscores the need for safety evaluations. In this study, 23 ENFs designed for adults, representing ten commercial brands, were analyzed; three were in powder form and twenty in liquid form.
