Supplementary Information

Supplementary Figure S1 - a) Histogram showing the number of earthquakes as a function of absolute distance to the nearest volcano. Blue, orange, and green bars represent near-field (≤ 50 km), transition (50-250 km), and far-field (> 250 km) events, respectively; b) Violin plots of earthquake magnitude (Mw) across the three volcanic distance zones. Median magnitudes and interquartile ranges show no significant differences between zones.

Supplementary Data S1-Catalogue of Mw ≥ 5.5 earthquakes used in this study (1904-2025; USGS), including event ID, origin time, epicentral coordinates, depth, magnitude, fault-plane parameters (when available), and computed seismogenic surface area (S). The results of earthquake-volcano distances and corresponding Triggering Index (TRIGI) values for the studied volcanoes in Türkiye are also listed.

Supplementary Material – The Python script containing the full analysis workflow implemented in this study.
