Description
The electromagnetic scattering analysis is always complex and has great importance in civil and military fields. The common aim of all approaches proposed for the solution of scattering problems is to obtain accurate scattering values with small computational burden. In this study, the radar cross-section (RCS) values of objects whose dimensions are large compared to the wavelength are calculated with the Triangular Ray Tube Tracing (TRTT) method, which is a high-frequency technique. In scattering analyses, multiple bounces and shadowing are taken into account depending on the geometry of the target object. In multiple bounces, the phase synchronization that occurs during ray tube tracing should be handled carefully. In this study, the phase synchronization between the rays in multiple bounces is explained in detail.
