An exceptional new weevil genus and species (Coleoptera: Curculionidae) from Tanzania

Description
The new genus Borisius gen. nov. and the new species, Borisius korotyaevi sp. nov. are described and illustrated in the tribe Lixini from Tanzania in the Afrotropical region. The new genus can easily be recognized by the following combination of characters: antennal club greatly elongate and spindle-shaped, forehead with two prominent ridges triangularly diverging anteriad, pronotum constricted with two lateral projections, third elytral interstria strongly raised in basal fifth, humeri swol-len, femora dentate.
