Michele Palieri üzüm çeşidinde farklı zamanlarda yapılan yaprak alma ve salkım seyreltme uygulamalarının salkım özellikleri üzerine etkilerinin belirlenmesi

Aims: The aim of research was determination of the effects of cluster thinning and leaf removal on cluster characteristics in Michele Palieri/110R grafting combination. Methods and Results: This research was conducted in Tekirdag-Karaevli village, between 41° 01' 11.41" N and 27° 39' 49.14" E coordinates in 2018-2019 and 2019-2020 periods. There were 3 different application periods [Berry Set (BS), Bunch Closure (BC), Veraison (V)] and 4 different applications [Control= No Leaf Removal-No Cluster Thinning (U1), No Leaf Removal-Cluster Thinning (U2), Leaf Removal-No Cluster Thinning (U3), Leaf Removal-Cluster Thinning (U4)] in the research. Following measurements were done to determine the cluster characteristics: cluster length and width (cm), cluster weight (g), cluster volume (cm3), berry number of cluster (number), cluster compactness and yield (kg/vine). Conclusions: As a result, in order to high quality for Michele Palieri; as an U2 (No Leaf Removal-Cluster Thinning) application in BC period in Tekirdag province is proposed. Significance and Impact of the Study: Cluster thinning and leaf removal applications have been found to cause 8-48% decrease in yield compared to the Control.
