Açıklama
This study evaluated the seasonal variation of the GWL by using 5-year values of 12 different wells of Erzurum province, which is located in northeastern Turkey, mountainous and snow-covered most of the year, using EBK and LPI techniques. The most appropriate semivariogram for the EBK models was found to be K-Bessel for all seasons. Within 4 seasons, it was observed that the geostatistical approach EBK produced more successful results compared to the deterministic method LPI. GWL is low in Erzurum centre in all seasons, it is high in the eastern and western parts of the province. The outputs of the study are of crucial importance for water resources managers, decision makers and planners in terms of effective water management.
