Description
Virgibacillus sp. strain AGTR, which is a haloalkaliphilic microorganism, was isolated from a sediment sample collected in hypersaline Lake Acigol in Turkey. It has the potential to produce biotechnologically essential proteases. Here, the whole-genome sequence and its annotations are reported.
