Description
Polyaniline (PANI) has been used in previous studies to enhance electrical conductivity of textile surfaces. This paper demonstrates to prepare solution to treat cotton fabric by dissolving chemically synthesized PANT powder in dimethylformamide (DMF) and use that solution as a textile finishing bath. The results showed that cotton fabric would be successfully covered with PANI exhibit increased conductivity by this easy method. The increased acidity / alkalinity of PANT solution and sample immersion time were found effective on electrical behavior of covered fabric.
