The national scene in information and documentation activities and recent developments in the documentation centre of TÜBITAK (TÜRDOK)

The first part of this paper is based on the evaluation of a survey, conducted by the Documentation Centre (TURDOK) of the Scientific and Technical Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK) on the existing national information and documentation activities in Turkey. The second part of the paper comprises the recent developments of TURDOK in providing information for universities, governmental institutions and industry.
