REACTIONS OF PERCHLOROBUTADIENE WITH DITHIOLS
Description
Compounds 3a, 3b, 4a, 5a and have been obtained from hexachlorobutadiene (1) and dithiolates in aqueous ethanol solutions at room temperature. Compound 3a gives a sulfoxide compound 6a and a sulfone compound 7a with 3-chloroperbenzoic acid in chloroform.
