DITERPENOIDS FROM SALVIA-WIEDEMANNII

Description
From the aerial parts of Salvia wiedemannii, a new diterpene, 14-oxo-pimaric acid, a known diterpene, pisiferal, and a known flavone, salvigenin, were isolated in addition to the previously isolated wiedemannic acid, 3-oxo-abieta-8,11,13-triene, cryptanol, horminone, 7-acetylhorminone, ferruginol, 12-methoxypisiferic acid, isopimaric acid and 7-beta-hydroxysandaracopimaric acid.
