Radiated immunity testing is one of common applications performed in reverberation chambers as per many EMC standards such as IEC 61000-4-21, DO160F, DO160G and MIL-STD461F. Although there are a good number of standards that support EMC testing in reverberation chambers, there are differences in analysis and application methods between them, which may lead to discrepancies in test results. In this research, we theoretically focused on differences between the most prominent EMC standards and thereafter experimentally showed the discrepancies in terms of forward power test values which emerge as a result of the analysis and which are injected into the chamber during testing for the frequency range from 200 MHz to 1 GHz.
