Description

Conductive polymers are high-tech materials with high energy efficiency, bright colors, compatible with ambient conditions and superior optical properties. The properties of the polymer vary depending on the properties of the monomer used in polymer synthesis. For this reason, the use of multifunctional new monomers with high pi-electron density and branching, containing different functional groups, is important in the formation of different types of conductive polymers. In this study, a new monomer suitable for double-sided polymerization on the thiophene groups in the center with the naphthalene molecule has been synthesized (DPN) and polymer P(DPN) has been obtained via this new monomer. P(DPN) is very stable and has the best optical properties. Also it is a special material with the potential to be used for sensor studies with amide groups and active amine protons that can be derivated.
