Microstrip antenna with compact anti-spiral slot resonator for 2.4 GHz energy harvesting applications

Description

This paper proposes a microstrip antenna with novel slot resonator for compact RF energy harvesting modules operating at 2.4 GHz. The antenna has the overall size of (0)/3 x (0)/3 with electrically small slot radiator of (0)/11 x (0)/15 at 2.4 GHz. Both measurement and simulation results show the proposed energy harvesting antenna to be utilized in DC power supply modules of modern low power wireless networks. (c) 2016 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
